The Culling has already begun.

Armageddon cometh.....

Thought of the day

I FORGOT THAT I FORGOT

Put a cap to it

Seriously.

Why am I even discussing this topic?

I don't know bout you guys but I'm bored.

Dead bored.

It's the same stuff over again and again and again.

I mean, come on, again???

Hell, it's starting to sound like some Ringu shit here.

' 7 days.......it'll never stop.............arrrrrrrrrrr..........'

Ringu!!!!

Sooner or later Miss Ringu's gonna yell 'I QUIT!!'

Then we'll have to resort to this.

......Pingu......!!!!

The HORROR.

So Put a cap to it.

Bury the grudge.

Ignore the ignorant.

Ding the Dong.

(ok the last one does not make any sense - don't crack your head over it)

Okay, so you screwed up. So somebody doesn't think rosy thoughts of you.

Big hairy deal.

For all you know, the entire workforce might hate you to the guts.

So? Life goes on.

Give it a few weeks, maybe months and someone/ something more interesting will take your place as the Talk of the Town.

Then you'll be free.

As for now?

PLUG THAT HOLE OF A MOUTH.

Sit back, and enjoy your 15 minutes of fame.

Trust me, it doesn't get any better than this.

Living in the Nut lane

Met an 'old friend' today.

Well, more like 'old business associate', in a way.

As far as I remember, after every meeting with him, I'll be about RM 20 poorer....

T_T ~$$

nooooooooo...............

Boy was he glad to see me. (at least he appeared so)

Gave me a warm greeting, asked where I've been. Yeah, it's been a couple of months since we last met.

Told him I'm no longer at melacca......joined the government service at Kajang. Serving mankind, I joked sheepishly.

'Good, good....' came his reply. Like the Chinese say, its an iron ricebowl (stable job). In uncertain times like these, having a measly salary still beats having no pay at all.

Uncle Chestnut and his Ol' Faithful

My turn to ask him how he's holding up.

Commented about his obviously-dyed jet black hair. He chuckled. Keeps me young, he quipped.

Life? Life's tough, he lamented.

Prices are on the rise, you see. Higher costs translates into higher prices.

Too bad not many people are willing to fork out 20 bucks for snacks nowadays.

All in a day's work...

His job, his passion, his life....

Well, I'll have non of that.

It may not sound like much, but I know this particular Rm 20 is gonna make someone a happier person today.

And that is all that matters.

And so Rm 20 given, 1.5 kg chestnuts received.

For me, food; For him, hope.....

Nature's gold...

It's good. Really good.

So kind he was, he threw in an extra treat for me, FOC. 'Old customer, cincai la....' he said.

Perks for being a loyal customer....

I bid him farewell, he wished me all the best in my career.

I guess we both gained something from this transaction.

Not to mention the obvious fact that I've got myself some grub, but I felt a happier person after our brief encounter.

As for him.....RM 20 might not seem like a whole lot, but I wish it gave him just that little boost he needs to keep him going. RM 20 for Hope, to me, is worth it down to the single penny.

So there.
Chow time~

Dandelions

Let there be no fighting.

Let there be no pain.

Let there be no suffering.

Let there be no shame.

We come into this world, naked as jaybirds, pure as can be.

Throughout life we gain some, we lose some.

We laugh, we cry; we give, we receive.

We live, we learn.

And when we leave this world, forgotten and absorbed into the earth six feet below, all that we held dear in our lifetime is returned, piece by piece, back to where it all came from.

xxxxxxxx

Life is too short.

It is,

Like Dandelions.

All that once was can be lost with the slightest change of wind.

There is no time for hatred.

There is no time for sorrow.

There is no time for regrets.

Never worry too much about tomorrow; for all you know, there might not even be a tomorrow to worry about.

Be thankful to be alive.....

for it is a gift given only once in a lifetime.
